Defect Summary Southeast Toyota Distributors, LLC (SET) is recalling certain 2005-2011 4Runner, Highlander, Sequoia, and Sienna, 2005-2010 Avalon and Tundra, 2006-2008 Camry Solara, 2006-2010 Highlander hybrid, 2006-2011 Rav4 and Tacoma, 2007-2010 FJ Cruiser, 2007-2011 Camry hybrid, 2009-2010 Venza, 2010-2012 Prius, 1988-1990 and 2005-2010 Camry, and 1989 and 2009-2010 Corolla vehicles equipped with aftermarket accessory seat heaters with a copper strand heating element. The electrical wiring in the seat heaters may be damaged when the seat cushion is compressed.
Consequence Summary If damaged, the copper strand heating element may short circuit, increasing the risk of a fire.
Corrective Summary SET will notify owners, and dealers will disconnect the seat heaters, free of charge, and refund the purchase price of the seat heater accessory. The recall began on July 14, 2016. Owners may contact SET customer service at 1-866-405-4226. SET number for this recall is SET16B.

Defect Summary Southeast Toyota is recalling certain model year 2008 and 2010-2013 Toyota Tundra, 2010-2012 Rav4, 2012 Toyota Sequoia, 2010-2011 Toyota Corolla, 2010-2011 Toyota Camry and Camry Hybrid, 2010-2013 Toyota Highlander and Highlander Hybrid, 2010-2013 Toyota FJ Cruiser, 2011 Toyota Land Cruiser, 2010-2013 Toyota Venza, 2010-2011 Toyota 4Runner, 2010-2013 Toyota Tacoma, 2011-2012 Toyota Sienna, 2012 Toyota Prius, 2013 Scion FR-S, 2011 Scion XD, 2011 Scion XB, and 2012 Scion TC vehicles. These vehicles were sold with labels that were outside the allowable one percent of accuracy of actual weight added. Thus, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) Number 110, "Tire Selection and Rims."
Consequence Summary An inaccurate label could lead to owners overloading their vehicles and tires. An overloaded vehicle can result in a tire failure which may result in a vehicle crash, personal injury, or property damage.
Corrective Summary Southeast Toyota will notify owners and provide a corrected label with instructions concerning its installation. A small group of the affected vehicles will need additonal remedies which are still being developed. The recall began on May 28, 2013. Owners may contact Southeast Toyota at 1-800-301-6859.

Corrective Summary TOYOTA FILED AN AMENDED DEFECT REPORT ON NOVEMBER 25, 2009, STATING THAT DEALERS WILL MODIFY THE ACCELERATOR PEDAL AND, ON CERTAIN VEHICLES, ALTER THE SHAPE OF THE FLOOR SURFACE UNDER THE PEDAL. THESE CHANGES ADDRESS THE RISK OF PEDAL ENTRAPMENT DUE TO INTERFERENCE WITH THE FLOOR MAT. REDESIGNED ACCELERATOR PEDALS WILL BECOME AVAILABLE BEGINNING IN APRIL 2010 AND DEALERS WILL REPLACE ANY MODIFIED PEDAL WITH THE NEW PEDAL IF DESIRED. ALSO, DEALERS WILL REPLACE ANY GENUINE TOYOTA OR LEXUS ALL-WEATHER FLOOR MATS WITH REDESIGNED ALL-WEATHER MATS, OR REPURCHASE THE PREVIOUS MATS FROM OWNERS WHO DO NOT WANT THE NEW ONES. ADDITIONALLY, SOFTWARE MODIFICATIONS WILL BE INSTALLED ON CAMRY, AVALON AND LEXUS ES 350, IS 350 AND IS 250 MODELS THAT WILL ENSURE THAT THE BRAKE OVERRIDES THE ACCELERATOR IN THE EVENT BOTH BRAKE AND ACCELERATOR PEDALS ARE APPLIED. TOYOTA WILL BEGIN MAILING LETTERS TO OWNERS ON DECEMBER 31, 2009. OWNERS MAY CONTACT TOYOTA AT 1-800-331-4331, LEXUS AT 1-800-255-3987.

Drives off today as I am moving my car (124 pp)to allow my plumber to park in my driveway and then a fdw hours later I move my car as akw1392-ny drives recklessly behind me (I am moving it as a car is stuck in the road) almost causing an accident. Stalker.

Arrives today on Pilgrim place along with ksf6938-ny as I am getting into my car (124 Pilgrim place)at 7:50 pm. Another jeep car in between for total of 3 cars wait in the middle of the road as ksf6938-ny owner drops her friend at 117 Pilgrim place. Jml4328-ny drives off as I get into my car as well as this person has followed me for miles. Stalker

At 12:55 pm today, kht2238-ny(119 pilgrim pl ) watches me (live at 124 pilgrim pl)leave my house and clicks his car locks several times and then a minute later gce8926-ny(127 pilgrim pl) drives recklessly towards me(has stalked/followed me before). I suspect was followed home by 115 pilgrim pl owner (gue4313-ny) and gpv1872-ny at 2:34 pm today from the highway(both arrive home as I do on pilgrim pl ).At around 4pm, 75936B-NE(126 pilgrim pl tenant) arrives home clicking his car locks several times. I am followed/stalked daily for years now to be harassed in tjis manner while leaving and whenever outside or inside my house (they always know as have cameras overlooking my house). Has followed me before via kpj8617-ny/hkr8760-ny)jyeng-ny /kmu5710-ny in addition to this car.

This 127 pilgrim pl tenant immediately got into her car upon seeing me leave my house (124 pilgrim pl) today at 11:43 am. She drove ahead of me following me on W. Valley stream Blvd as her friends ftg1892-ny/jrc7717-ny drove uo Camdike st(130/134 pilgrim pl). Jjd3140-ny drove behind me and later stalked/waited on Camdike st as I arrived home as his friend knc6945-my waited at 114 pilgrim pl; in addition , gpv1872-ny/ kdd1887-ny followed me home at 12:30 pm . Gce8926 arrived home a few minutes later at 12:40 pm. Stalkers

This 127 Pilgrim place owner drove recklessly towards(trying to get me into an accident) my car(live at 124 Pilgrim place) at 3:26 pm today ( a Blue suv driver drove down Bucknell RD looking at me as I got into my car). His friends gpv1872-ny/jdx1807-ny followed me today while driving/walking a few hours before that. This 127 Pilgrim owner followed me home along with his co-tenant kpj8617-ny on 10/21. Stalkers as 121/126/125 Pilgrim place/69 Hamilton Ave owners use their cameras to stalk me daily. After I parked my car in my driveway she honked the horn while parked to harass me.

Gce8926-ny drove past my house as I was leaving today (live at 124 Pilgrim Place) at 3:31 pm. Mjustin-ny/ffc3686-ny drove up S. Central Ave a few minutes later and kba1769-ny owner watched me take a left onto W. Valley Stream Blvd. I was followed to and from the post office by her friends.

This 127 Pilgrim Place tenant drove from Bucknell Rd recklessly onto Pilgrim Place past his friend (kba1769-ny 117 Pilgrim Place tenant)parked in the middle of the road today at 4:38 pm, parked momentarily close to his house. Upon seeing me inside my house (124 Pilgrim Place)about to leave my house he drives around and drives past my house as I am approaching my car at 4:44 pm; in addition, jrt4442-ny drives past me waiting at the end of Pilgrim Place as cnf9315-ny(green sedan driver) driver did the same thing earlier in the afternoon while I parked in front of my house(intentional stalking). After I park my car in my driveway he honks the horn repeatedly while he's parked in the middle of the street to harass me. Yesterday,he followed me home from walking at 5pm along with gue4313-ny/kpj8617-ny(both cars are parked in their driveway or on Pilgrim Place today) as this is deliberate stalking. Stalkers

This 127 Pilgrim Place tenant followed me (live at 124 Pilgrim Place) with his fellow tenant (kpj8617-ny) today up W.Valley Stream Blvd from the highway or Merrick RD at 5pm today(Sedan parked at home while kpj8617-ny followed me from Bucknell Rd to Buscher Ave to Pilgrim Place) as they use their phones prior to keep in touch with each and their fellow stalkers in the below timeline. Several cars followed me(live at 124 Pilgrim Place) for 10 minute Walk today from 4:54 to 5:04 pm today: gue4313-ny intially, then khr1826-ny, then hmc2977-ny abruptly taking a right onto Pilgrim Place from Bucknell Rd and then taking a right on S. Central Ave to wait for me to stalk me looking at his phone to alert exn2102-ny, then exn2102-ny drove down S. Central Ave, kph9483-ny drove down W. Valley Stream Blvd, gce8926-ny/kpj8617-ny from 127 Pilgrim Place followed me to Bucknell Rd, Jpl5431-ny followed me to Pilgrim Place, kpj8617-ny quickly drove up Buscher Ave from Bucknell Rd to catch a glimpse of me walking up Bucknell Rd then followed to Pilgrim Place along with gpv1872-ny as gpv1872-ny took a left on Bucknell Rd while Kpj8617-ny drove down Pilgrim Place past 127 Pilgrim Place and gue4313-ny followed behind on Pilgrim Place after intially following me 10 minutes ago. This 127 pilgrim place continually stalks me and my family (we live at 124 Pilgrim Place) as I suspect him for following my relative home work (has done this before) today at 3:27 pm, then he watches me as I park my other car in front of 126 Pilgrim Place.; In addition, cnf9559-ny and fxe4848-ny park/drive on Pilgrim Place after I park my car(stalking me) today at 3:37 pm. At 6:51 am today, this 127 Pilgrim Place tenant waits in his driveway along with his friend at 125 Pilgrim Place (khs6586-ny) with their engine running (can see brake light on back of car)after I park my car in my driveway at 6:51 am(I live at 124 Pilgrim Place) as before this hgk2487-ny followed my relative to work at 6:50 am today. I wait for a few minutes and they still lookat me fom their cars as I go back inside for a few minutes and return at 6:57 am to see they have not left yet as they are waiting to see when I leave (I notice 132 Pilgrim Place owner walking by texting on his phone walking past me after briefly looking at me-always texts walking past my house only). I decide not leave as I notice after an hour at 7:54 am (gce8926-ny left as khs6586-ny parked in front of his house). Stalkers/reckless drivers that stalk/harass my family daily along with 132 Pilgrim Place owner (blue shirt) and 120 Pilgrim Place owner (hgk2487-ny), who encourages this behavior (along with following/stalking my family)despite telling the police he was a cop(not confirmed). Stalkers/reckless drivers with bad intentions as I have to work remotely to avoid being followed ny then as they harass me near my house despite this (blocking my driveway/parking for 7+ hours in front of/near my house clicking car locks several times along with honking the horn while parjed).

Gce8926-ny and hkr8760-ny (127 Pilgrim Place) both followed my relative's nissan from 4:29 pm to 4:32 pm today (we live at 124 Pilgrim Place) as there were no cars parked in 127 Pilgrim Place at 4:28 pm, but at 4:29 pm hkr8760-ny briefly parks in his driveway to only drive off after which gce8926-ny parks in the driveway at 4:32 pm. Both cars followed my family member from work to the supermarket today as they're stalkers with nothing better to do. I have to check my mail and watch over an ailing family member as they've bad intentions when following my family (omojesu-ny a friend of 127 Pilgrim Place almost collided with my relative's car today as this latter driver only knew my relative's whereabouts due to 127 Pilgrim Place neighbor).

Immediately when I approach my door to check the mail today after coming home early from work (I live at 124 Pilgrim Place), this driver intentionally triggers their car alarm to harass me for several minutes (he lives at 127 Pilgrim Place and doesn't work)

This male driver lives at 127 Pilgrim Place and today he followed me on S. Central Ave from (124 Pilgrim Place) at 1:52 pm and back home at 3:20 pm (as kept clicking his car locks along with 137 Pilgrim Place neighbors).
