Defect Summary ON CERTAIN PASSENGER VEHICLES, THE FUEL TANK MAY HAVE A LOCALIZED THIN WALL SECTION IN THE LOWER HALF OF THE TANK. THE FUEL TANK MAY CRACK CREATING A POTENTIAL FOR A FUEL LEAK AND FUEL ODOR. THE "SERVICE ENGINE SOON" INDICATOR MAY ILLUMINATE.

Consequence Summary A FUEL LEAK IN THE PRESENCE OF AN IGNITION SOURCE COULD RESULT IN A FIRE.

Corrective Summary DEALERS WILL REPLACE THE FUEL TANK FREE OF CHARGE. THE RECALL BEGAN ON APRIL 4, 2005. OWNERS MAY CONTACT FORD AT 1-800-392-3673, LINCOLN AT 1-800-521-4140.

On my way to work this cut me off to avoid having to stop behind the bus. I beeped at him to let him know that he was interfering with the flow of traffic an when I beeped my horn at him he flipped me off which is whatever. So we started to drive behind him an his wife an they were driving 10 miles under the speed limit. An anytime I tried to switch lanes to get away from him he would cut in front of me. This went on for about 3 miles during rush hour. The last time I tried to go around him I actually got up beside him trying to pass him and he decided to try to cut over in front of me anyway but this time since I was beside him, he got his car scraped for being dumb. He is all mad an good Im glad. Him an his wife or whowerver uses their car to block both lanes in the road to get out and start filming me and my car. They threatend me. I GOT their plate number an called the cops. An everyone should know about this plate.
