Defect Summary Tesla Motors, Inc. (Tesla) is recalling certain 2019 Tesla Model 3 vehicles. The driver-side sun visor may not have the required air bag warning information. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 208, "Occupant Crash Protection."

Consequence Summary Failure to provide the air bag warning information increases the risk of injury.

Corrective Summary Tesla will notify owners, and Tesla Service Centers will inspect the visor and replace it, as necessary, free of charge. The recall began December 6, 2019. Owners may contact Tesla customer service at 1-877-798-3752. Tesla's number for this recall is SB-19-15-003.

Comments

I saw this driver driving down a 2 Lane Rd. that merged into one lane. This driver drove alongside me for a minute when all the sudden he got very angry. he shot me the bird, screamed obscenities at me and then accelerated very quickly. He cut off the car two cars ahead of me. A few minutes later I tried to turn in the turn lane to go to the left, and this driver pulled out quickly in front of me to cut me off, stopped his car and threw his arms up in the air. The light was a green arrow and he continued to stay stopped in the street. There was an opening in front of a car on the right side of the road that continued to go straight I turned my blinker on and pulled back in to the main traffic quickly averting this driver. Stay away from him he is dangerous
