Recall Notes SYSTEM: FUEL TANK ASSEMBLY.VEHICLE DESCRIPTION: MULTI-PURPOSE VEHICLE.DESCRIPITON OF DEFECT: CERTAIN HIGH TEMPERATURES AND LOADING EFFECTSCAN CREATE HIGH PRESSURE IN THE FUEL TANK. THE RESULTANT STRESS CANCAUSE EXCESSIVE LOAD TO THE FUEL TANK SEPARATOR WELD ATTACHMENTS TO THE INTERIOROF THE TANK, WHICH CAN RESULT IN CRACKS IN THE FUEL TANK AND FUEL LEAKAGE.
